An oasis indeed. And so pretty with the snow pile on top! You have a great back porch.
Maybe some woodland creatures can come make a home in your deck's forest? St. Francis...I mean Andrew...could feed them and keep them safe.
I love that you found a way to bring the "country-like" feeling home to the big city.
I'd say this is working quite well and a good way to re-cycle a tree. you'll make some birds plenty happy over it!
